About John
John is an English scriptwriter, copywriter, author and video producer, with experience in corporate training, communications and marketing. After a stint in the advertising industry, and seventeen years in the corporate world of marketing with Esso, he set out to build a life in which he could be true to his creative talents.
In 1986, John formed his own corporate publishing and video production company in London called Mediamix. As well as writing and editing corporate magazines, he wrote scripts and produced videos for some of the UK’s largest companies, including Esso, TGI Friday’s, Harrods and the Whitbread Beer Company.
In 1992 he sold his share of Mediamix, London and moved to the USA, where he formed Mediamix Solutions and Prospero Publishing. He has continued to produce, write and direct videos for all kinds of organizations, as well as working as a freelance copywriter, ghostwriter and editor.
